Namcho Tsa Lung Yoga of Self Awareness and Gegsel Exercises
Namcho Tsa Lung Yoga of Self Awareness bears the experience of immediate physical and mental relaxation through the combination of stretching, breathing and inner observation. Working with the inner channels, breath and mind, practitioners are engaging in the threefold-way practice. Gegsel Exercises are the application of energetic movements, vocalisation of certain seed syllables and use of controlled breathing together. These Exercises allow a practitioner to release powerfully the feelings of stress and negative emotions in the upper body and help regulate digestive problems, soothe stomach cramps etc. The balance of inner channels, nerves and organs contributes to a peaceful mind and heart.
Both yoga and Gegsel Exercises are suitable for all Buddhist practitioners from beginners to advanced levels. Namcho Tsa Lung and Gegsel Exercises have been upheld in the uninterrupted transmission lineage from Terton, treasure revealer Tulku Mingyur Dorje (1645-1667) up to Dolpo Tulku Rinpoche. Dolpo Tulku Rinpoche will teach about the subtle body energies, the purification process by practicing yoga and Exercises, explain inner and outer winds and tigles (essences) and how all these connect to the five elements and five primordial wisdoms.
